Social Events (and Fundraising)
A big reason we enjoy Wheeler Lake is the people. WLA organizes social events every year, including the annual Venetian Boat Parade right after the 4th of July festivities, the annual Golf Outing at McCaslin Book, our Brat Fry at the Lakewood Supervalue, and the annual Ice Fishing Tournament. Many of these events double as fundraisers to help fund our water quality and invasive species management work.

Second Annual Bass Fishing Tournament Has Begun
From now until August 15th, the WLA is hosting a Largemouth Bass fishing tournament. Please report your catches by clicking the button below.
There are two age groups (18+ and under 18) and winners will be decided by who catches and removes the most fish from Wheeler Lake…monetary prizes will be awarded!
Get in the water and kick some bass!
